7 Biggest Kit Sponsorship Deals in Sports

Brazil's soccer federation (CBF) has extended its kit deal with Nike by 12 years, until 2038. The deal, worth $100 million per year, includes royalties on the sale of national team shirts, and the CBF will now have the ability to license products and open stores globally. This extension comes after Brazil first teamed up with Nike in 1996. We look at some of the biggest sponsorship deals in football history.

Nike X Germany -  £108 Million Per Year Nike inked a contract with the German football federation, taking over from Adidas as the provider of apparel and equipment for national teams from 2027 to 2034, reportedly valued at about $108 million.

Manchester City X Puma - £651 Million After Puma failed to bag a contract with Barcelona, theiy set their sight on Manchester City, and signed the most expensive kit deal in the club's history.

Bayern Munich X Adidas - £769.2 It's hard to imagine Bayern Munich playing in anoy other kit than Adidas. The German  kit manufacturer has been with them since 1976, and in 2015 they inked another 15-year-deal.

Real Madrid X Adidas - £816m Million Adidas pays the highest amount for a longstanding relationship they share with Real Madrid. They have been together since 1996

Paris Saint-Germain X Nike - £888.94 Million Nike is in association with PSG through its subsidiary company Jordan, for which they pay £68.38m per season. Although the sum is modest but it's the tenure of the deal (13 years) that makes it among the most valuable.

Chelsea X Nike - £902.7m Nike must be rejoicing at the prospect of Chelsea's resurgence, for the brand has signed a whopping £60.18 million per year contract that runs till 2032

Manchester United X Adidas - £906m Manchester United continue to languish in mediocrity but their brand values haven't really dipped as per their performance.
